Possible Promulgation July 1, 2017
From Rob Anderson,
The ninth edition amendments are under final, internal legal review. We hope to file with Secretary of State (SEC) shortly. At this point we are not certain if we will meet the July 1st effective date.
However, Board members have declared that the concurrency period will end on January 1, 2018, regardless of when it begins, so the period may be a little shy of 6 full months, depending on when we file with the SEC.
Once the amendments have been officially filed, notification will be forwarded to all building inspectors and interested parties via Constant Contact messaging and the Office of Public Safety and Inspection website will be updated.
